coLearn is an online platform for collaborative learning on unlimited diversity of subjects. Provides many tools that enhance distant learning and is highly extensible.

    Select Discipline

    You can create teams in different disciplines, like internal medicine or electronics engineering.

    Create Team

    You can create different teams for each discipline.

    Add Subject

    You can add different subjects to discuss on. The subjects must be relevant to team. This can be a discussion on a challenging subject, a clinical scenario, or an online video lecture.

    Add Materials

    You can add supplementary materials like pdf, slides, images, videos. Also multiple choice review questions can be added.

    Discuss

    The magic comes here. Your team can collaboratively discuss on the subject. You can direct discussions as needed. Members of your team can reach the discussions from any device having internet connection, anytime, anywhere.

 Collaborative learning teams can be created in all of the disciplines listed in the main list. Suggestions for additional disciplines are welcome.
Item slected from the second level list determines the area the team is related to. This list also allows user to subscribe disciplines to follow.
Outstanding teams and/or subjects in the users subscribed disciplines are listed in the main page.
The user can also follow certain subjects. The subjects that you are following are also listed in your main page for easy access.
Different subjects and discussions can be opened under a team. All team members can access the subjects, but they can also choose which subjects to follow. To keep discussions focused, and prevent user disctraction, each subject must be related to a specific topic. This may be practical aspects of a challenging topic, a clinical scenario, or a video lecture belonging to curriculum enriched with suplementary materials and review questions.
Discussions are one of the distinguishing aspects of coLearn. Questions and additional knowledge provided by team members serves better clarification and undertanding of the subject. Discussions are real-time and recommended to be actively directed by the team leader. Team leader have full control on moderation of the discussions and can select important contribusions to step forward. Since the discussions are stored, users reviewing the subject later can also benefit from the previous discussions. User can share or save selected contributions to local device for offline viewing.
Video lectures can be added. The lectures can be hosted in our servers or can be linked from other hosting sources like Youtube. Local hosting of supplementary materials may add to costs.
Multiple choice review questions can be added to the subject. User can check their knowledge, and has an understanding of important aspects of the subject.
